Center Member Leland Peters
Volunteers His Time and Talents
LIFE Celebrates
Older Americans Month

May is "Older Americans Month" and we'd like to take this opportunity to recognize a few of the amazing members of LIFE's Senior Centers who inspire us every day with their active lives, positive attitudes and important contributions to LIFE Senior Services.

Leland Peters first joined LIFE’s Senior Center at East Side with his wife to take the seated Yoga class and to learn Line Dancing.
Now, four years later, much of his life revolves around the Center as he not only enjoys the activities, but also volunteers his time and talents. He now leads the Line Dancing Class, co-teaches a Social Dance class, and masterminds and plans major theme parties twice a year (including building and painting some amazing backdrops.)
Come meet Leland and his friends at LIFE’s Senior Center at East Side, 1427 S. Indianapolis Ave. in Tulsa,
(918) 744-6760.
