Skiatook, a community of approximately 13,000 people, is located 20 miles north of downtown Tulsa. Skiatook is home to rolling wooded hills, recreational Skiatook Lake and one of the greatest expanses of tall grass prairie in the country.

Skiatook Senior Center has a senior nutrition site and offers residents weekday transportation to the Center, as well as to Walmart on Mondays. Transportation can also be arranged through Cimarron Transit.
