Broken Arrow, with nearly 95,000 residents, is Tulsa's largest suburb, and in 2010 was named by Money Magazine as one of the top 25 places to retire in the U.S. Despite its rapid growth the past 15 years, it still maintains its "small town" spirit. Located southeast of Tulsa, Broken Arrow is noted for its low crime rate, good schools, quality developments and many outstanding churches.

Vandever House is just around the corner from a major grocery, pharmacy and department stores. It's just two miles from Walmart and four miles from the new St. John Hospital, Stonewood Hills and the ever-popular Bass Pro Shop. And, it's on the fixed route for the Broken Arrow Bus System, providing transportation around the city.

A senior nutrition site is available downtown at the Broken Arrow Senior Center. The Senior Center offers a wide array of fitness, recreation and creative activities, and provides transportation for residents to attend the Senior Center Monday through Friday.
