LIFE's Adult Day Services
Adult Day services provides a safe, friendly daytime home for adults who are socially isolated, have a physical impairment, Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia, or experience depression or other mental health disorders.  The caring, experienced staff and stimulating activities give people a reason to get up in the morning and something to talk about and the end of the day.  Three levels of care, including specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care, meet each individual’s needs.  Health and medication supervision, bathing and hair care, and nutritious meals are just a few of the services offered.  Families receive on-going support and the opportunity to work or attend to personal matters worry-free, knowing their loved one is safe and having a good time.  LIFE’s three centers are Oklahoma’s only adult day centers accredited by CARF, giving caregivers extra confidence their loved one is receiving the highest quality care.  Early morning, late, and weekend hours, and three locations in north and central Tulsa and Broken Arrow offer convenient options.

Independent and ADvantage Case Management
Living in one’s own home as long as possible is what most seniors want.  That’s what LIFE’s case management is all about – helping people remain independent.  By matching a senior’s needs with community resources, case management professionals help fill the gaps that threaten an individual’s independence and safety.  With the right supports in place, seniors can remain independent, safe, and surrounded by the comforts of home.

Caregiver Support
Although you many not realize it, if you are helping an older family member or friend, you are a caregiver.  Whether you are new or seasoned caregiver, juggling caregiver responsibilities with work, personal, or other family needs can be difficult.  That’s why LIFE offers the support and services essential for successful caregiving. Information and referral to in-home and community-based services, education programs, support groups, and resource libraries help lighten the load for care givers of all ages.

Community Education
With the right information at the right time, seniors and their families can more easily make important decisions about aging and caregiving issues.  LIFE Senior Services offers a variety of community education programs and an active speakers bureau to help older adults and their families learn more about issues, services, resources, and opportunities.

LIFE's Senior Centers
Come for the food and activities – stay for the friendships.  That’s the standing invitation at LIFE Senior Services’ two busy senior centers.  Members who are age 55 or older come for the breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and stay for the music, classes of all kinds, movies, cards, games, projects, exercise, community outings, and friendly conversations.  Members say that going to the senior centers helps them make new friends and stay busy, healthy, informed, and laughing.
