Glenpool, a growing community of approximately 9,000 people, is located just south of Tulsa off U.S. Highway 75.

Glenpool has been known as "The Town That Made Tulsa Famous" because of the 1905 discovery of oil on the land of Ida Berryhill Glenn. The resulting oil boom at the Glenn Pool made Tulsa the "Oil Capital of the World."

Redbud Village is less than a mile from Oklahoma's largest Walmart Supercenter, a variety of new restaurants, banks, hotels and the Glenpool Conference Center and Municipal Building. It is only two blocks away from the Glenpool Senior Center.
