Collinsville's downtown has retained the majority of its historic buildings from the late 1800's and early 1900's, lending significantly to it's small town charm. Local retail establishments offer a wide variety of shopping opportunities with a significant focus on antique stores and an art gallery.

Cardinal Heights is located south of Collinsville's Main Street, less than a mile from the Farmer's Market and the Depot and Newspaper museums. Cardinal Heights is a senior nutrition site and the Collinsville Seniors Bus provides transportation for planned outings.
